Plan for the whole experience
Every decision should support what attendees, speakers, sponsors and the host organization need the event to accomplish.
My story
For more than 20 years, I ran a successful coaching, training and consulting company. Along the way, a small and talented team and I grew an annual client-appreciation conference from 20 attendees to 1,000.
The SuperConference years
We were passionate about our SuperConference and about what was expected of us. Every year, the goal was to deliver our best SuperConference ever.
That standard demanded more than a good agenda. It required hundreds of decisions to work together—from the venue and contract to the final moment on stage.
Behind the experience
We developed a playbook for every part of the conference: site selection, breakout sessions, general-session speakers, receptions, team building, technology and audiovisual production.
It was, quite literally, a thousand details—mostly executed flawlessly, year after year. The visible event mattered, but so did the discipline, preparation and teamwork beneath it.
That consistency built remarkable loyalty among our members, vendors and partners. The conference sold out year after year without our having to pre-announce speakers or agendas. People trusted the experience we would create.
What I bring forward
Every decision should support what attendees, speakers, sponsors and the host organization need the event to accomplish.
Clear responsibilities, timelines and standards turn complicated events into manageable work—and make excellence repeatable.
People return when the experience consistently honors their time, their investment and the promises made to them.
The next chapter
I know how to plan and execute successful events, large or small. I would welcome the opportunity to help make yours successful.
